After the Galaxy M31’s 6,000 mAh battery, the Galaxy M51’s 7,000 mAh battery?
In addition to Galaxy S smartphones, Galaxy Notes and Galaxy A, Smasung also offers “Galaxy M” smartphones that compete directly with Xiaomi’s Redmi brand. These are affordable smartphones, but with a lot of battery life and an average technical record.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M series in India, but soon these smartphones arrived in Europe. For example, the Galaxy M31 is already available in France. It costs 280 dollars and in addition to its Exynos 9611 processor and four cameras on the back, its main advantage is its 6,000 mAh battery which allows to have a very large battery life.
But on the next model of this series, the battery could have an even greater capacity. It’s been a while since the media mentioned this next model, the Galaxy M51. And recently, Ishan Agarwal, a source of “leaks” that is regularly reported by the press, published alleged information on this smartphone.
A battery with immense capacity
According to the publication, which is relayed by Android Central, the Galaxy M51 will have a battery of 7,000 mAh, a capacity that is twice that of some smartphones. Otherwise, like the M31, the Galaxy M51 would have a 64-megapixel main camera, along with three other sensors. As for the screen, it would be a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED.
The publication is accompanied by a rendering that shows that the M51 should have a bubble pierced on the corner of the screen for the front camera. So, no notch. And obviously, the fingerprint scanner will be on the back, but not on the screen.
In its article, Android Central states that the Galaxy M51’s battery should support fast charging at 25 W and that the device should have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor (the same processor as Google’s Pixel 4a). This processor would be accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
This year, the mid-range device market is particularly interesting, with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note, but also Google’s Pixel 4a, the iPhone SE 2020,as well as the OnePlus North. Samsung’s Galaxy M51 will allow it to counter these offers for those looking for models not too expensive, but powerful.
